Merge 2 maps for BaseCamp
Hello,
I tried several times to merge France topo v5 with Gmaptool 0.973, but I ended up with a map with a lot of errors and impossible to save.
Are there other settings to make than those mentioned above? I copied my 2 map parts on a usb key in a file named Garmin and created a France v5 file on the same key (16Gb) outside the Garmin file for the release of the new map.
I'm trying to reach them to read this map in BaseCamp.
Using my gpsmap 64s my maps work fine but not readable in BaseCamp either, while other maps are readable like topo Spain v6 for example.
If anyone has an idea, I'd be happy to try.

I try to translate for You ...
Topo France v5 NORD
Topo France v5 SUD
As you can see File size of both Maps are over 3 GB.
You can't merge them in a single Map, as Total size exceedes 4 GB, the maximum file size in a FAT32 File System
But ... If you put both Maps in the same folder \Garmin on SD, BaseCamp will open the Maps, one at time of course
