US Version TT-15 Collars in Europe - Alpha 100 handset options?
Hi All,
I recently moved from the US to Sweden. I brought my Alpha 100 + TT15 with me only to find that it is frequency locked within europe and does not function. There were two options available:
- Downgrade the Alpha 100 firmware from 7.2 to 3.1... (pre-frequency lock) major bummer
- Purchase an EU alpha 100 (tried this and can't pair it with my TT15_US)
What are the options here? Is it impossible to get a TT-15 working in the EU?
Are there any firmware patches that will unlock the radio signal? Any patches that allow an EU handset to pair with a US collar?
Sincerest appreciation for any help,

Hi,
I sell Garmin Gps in Belgium.
The difference between US and EU product is the frequency used between collars and Gps.
So I think you can try a TT15 ou TT5 with another hunter who bought it in EU.
I don't think downgrade the firmware will resolve the problem...
Have a nice day
