I am new to this but have managed to get VCP running for Audi RMC MAPS on an old XP laptop to be installed on my audi A6 but I don't know where to put the folders or files within them?
I put the maps on a formatted fat32 SD card in SD slot one but that didn't work?
The VCP prog stated ECU flashing finished successfully and communication closed but no new maps?
Would some please tell me where the MAPS folder and RMC PATCH folder are put??
is it in the C:\VCP6 main folder along with all the other folders and files? or somewhere else within them?

The VCP program is working I just don't know how to get the maps into my MMI any help with the above is gratefully received

Maps in rmc are in sd card. You can you original sd, make a backup before copy new files.

I`ve Still no luck installing the maps? I have the 2023/2024 maps on a 32gb mini sd card (with adaptor) and also tried an old 8gb sd card too, I tried to delete origin Audi 2016 maps on the Audi card but it states cannot delete Albania locked even although the sd card lock is off?
The VCP is working with the dongle (Windows XP) it states "ecu update successful" and disconnects, I tried dozens of times but cannot get the maps to install from any of the 2 sd cards?
Does anyone know where/what I`m doing wrong and how to get the RMC maps installed? it`s doing my head in for the past week

I think I understand now, the penny finally dropped after reading another post...CID ordered today from China 16gb to be on the safe side
